About these terms
These terms cover the use of our website and the treatments we provide at Sen Spa by Yen Linh in Hartland, New Brunswick. By using this website or booking a treatment with us, you agree to them.
Using this website
You are welcome to browse the site, read about our treatments and get in touch. Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, extract data from it in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful.
Our services
Sen Spa provides wellness and personal care services — massage, facials, hand and foot care, and Japanese head spa treatments. These are relaxation and wellbeing treatments. They are not medical care, and we do not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Treatment descriptions, inclusions and prices on this website are current at the time of writing and may change. The price confirmed with you when you book is the price that applies.
Appointments
We recommend booking in advance so you get the treatment and the time you want. Appointments are made by phone on 506-324-4935 or through the enquiry form on our Contact page. There is no online booking on this website — sending an enquiry starts a conversation rather than confirming a booking. Your appointment is confirmed once we have confirmed it with you.
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment so you have a moment to settle before we begin. If you are running late, let us know if you can. We will do what we can to fit your treatment in, though a later start may mean a shorter treatment so that the following client is not kept waiting.
Cancellations and changes
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or appointment changes whenever possible. We are a small spa, so a late cancellation usually means the time cannot be filled — the notice genuinely helps us.
We understand that life gets in the way. If something comes up, please just tell us as early as you can.
Telling us what we need to know
Because our treatments are hands-on, please tell us before your appointment about anything that could affect whether a treatment is safe or comfortable for you — allergies, injuries, pregnancy, skin conditions, medications, recent medical or cosmetic procedures, and any relevant health conditions.
You are the person who knows your own health, so we rely on what you tell us. If you are unsure whether a treatment is suitable — particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery or an injury, or managing an ongoing condition — please speak with your doctor or another qualified health professional first.
We may adjust a treatment, suggest a different one, or recommend you seek advice before going ahead. If we do, it is because we would rather get it right than press on.
Nothing in these terms limits our own responsibility to provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
Treatment results
People respond differently to spa treatments, particularly skincare and relaxation services. What one client experiences may not be what you experience, and we cannot promise a specific outcome, a particular result, or a timeframe for either. Anything we say about the benefits of a treatment is general information, not a guarantee.
Comfort and conduct
Sen Spa is meant to be a calm, safe place for clients and for the therapist. We may decline or stop a treatment where someone behaves inappropriately, is harassing or unsafe, appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or where continuing would not be safe or appropriate. We would much rather never need this paragraph, and in practice we almost never do.
Prices and payment
Current prices are shown on our website and in the spa. Payment is taken at the spa at the time of your treatment.
Gratuities are never required. If you would like to leave one, 15 to 20% is customary, but the amount is entirely your choice.
We do our best to keep prices accurate everywhere they appear. If a price is listed incorrectly, we will tell you the correct price before you commit to anything, and you are free to decide from there.
Gift certificates
Sen Spa gift certificates are available in any dollar amount and are bought in person or by phone on 506-324-4935. They are not sold through this website.
Gift certificates are redeemable for treatments and can be used towards any amount. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
Our dollar-value gift certificates do not expire. New Brunswick’s Gift Cards Act prohibits expiry dates on gift cards and certificates in most circumstances, and we have no intention of working around that.
Please look after your certificate as you would cash. If one is lost or stolen, get in touch and we will do what we reasonably can to help.
Promotions and special offers
From time to time we run monthly deals or seasonal offers. Unless we say otherwise, these run for a limited time, are subject to availability, and cannot be combined with another offer. The specific terms of an offer will be stated with that offer.
If something is not right
If you are ever unhappy with a treatment, please tell us at the time or as soon as you can afterwards. We would always rather hear about it and put it right than have you leave disappointed. We will work with you to find a fair resolution.
Information on this website
We keep the website as accurate as we can, but occasional errors happen — a price that has changed, a treatment description that is out of date, an availability detail that is no longer right. If something on the site conflicts with what we tell you directly, please ask us and we will confirm.

Our website links to our Facebook page and includes an embedded map. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of websites we link to.
Our content
The text, photographs, branding, logo and design on this website belong to Sen Spa or are used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without asking us first. Sharing a link to our site, or a post about your visit, is always welcome.
Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, and we take our responsibilities to clients seriously.
To the extent the law allows, Sen Spa is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or from a treatment, and our liability for any claim relating to a treatment is limited to the amount you paid for that treatment.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under New Brunswick or Canadian law. That includes liability for personal injury caused by negligence, and it includes your rights under consumer protection legislation. If any part of this section is found to go further than the law permits, the rest still applies.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one on this page, and the “Last Updated” date shows when it last changed.
